ALEXIS KAUR, 24
IVF Specialist Nurse
Advocate for Mental Health in Healthcare
Born and raised in Singapore to a Chinese mother and Sikh father, Alexis turned a personal health challenge into her life’s calling. Diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome as a teenager, she pursued a career as an IVF specialist nurse, determined to help others navigating fertility struggles. As the sole nurse in her clinic, Alexis forms deep, personal bonds with her patients and supports them through one of the most emotional journeys of their lives.
Her advocacy focuses on mental health for healthcare workers, recognising that those who care for others often neglect their own well-being. Alexis believes in the power of small gestures, like telling a tired nurse, “I appreciate you,” to make a real difference.
Outside of work, Alexis enjoys singing, playing the drums, caring for stray cats, trying new makeup techniques, and travelling. She approaches life with quiet strength, shaped by her experiences growing up in a divorced household and learning to define her own confidence and beauty.
“Strength comes in all shapes and forms, and it starts with being your true self. I am not here to simply look the part. I want to use my voice to represent women who have felt overlooked and remind them that they are enough.”
