With roots in both Singapore and Germany, Annika grew up between Tokyo and Dubai before moving to Europe to further her studies. She graduated Cum Laude in Hospitality Business from the Netherlands and earned a Master’s in Luxury and Fashion Marketing in Barcelona. These global experiences have shaped her into a culturally fluent, adaptable, and confident communicator.

A dedicated athlete, Annika completed her first marathon in just four hours after only six months of training, overcoming a recent sports injury in the process. She first joined Miss Universe Singapore at 19, and now returns with a wealth of life experience and a sharpened sense of purpose.

Her advocacy centres on sustainable fashion, where she uses her platform to raise awareness of the environmental costs of overconsumption. She showcases how second-hand fashion can be both stylish and sustainable, inspiring change among younger and older generations alike.

Annika has hosted events across Europe and Asia and enjoys cooking, thrifting, journaling, and challenging herself with new pursuits, from spin instructing to contemplating a triathlon.
