[SINGAPORE] 9 July, 2024 Miss Universe Singapore 2024 is now calling for ambitious, intelligent, and confidently beautiful women to participate in this year’s pageant, offering a chance at the coveted Miss Universe Singapore title. The pageant, now redefined, seeks entrants who are not only physically beautiful but also driven by ambition, intellect, and a passion for addressing serious social issues.
ROLE MODEL & AMBASSADOR
The winner of Miss Universe Singapore will serve as a role model and ambassador for Singapore on the global stage, embodying not just physical beauty but also strength, intellect, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Miss Elaine Daly, the National Director for Miss Universe Singapore and former Miss Universe Malaysia 2003, emphasizes the significance of this platform for advocacy.
“This competition is more than just a crown; it’s a platform to inspire and advocate for causes close to your heart,”
says Daly, who credits her own successful 30-year career in the entertainment industry to her Miss Universe experience. Daly has been instrumental in helping women break through the corporate glass ceiling through her Lead Up programme.
Over the years Miss Universe has been running in Singapore there have been a number of women who have used it as a stepping stone to spectacular careers.
Popular actress Cheryl Chou won Miss Universe Singapore in 2016, and Singapore entertainment icon Rebecca Lim was Miss Photogenic and in the top five of Miss Universe Singapore 2005, which she credits as ‘opening the door to stardom’.
Eunice Elizabeth Olsen won Miss Universe Singapore in 2000, and in 2004 she was appointed a Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) to highlight issues pertaining to youth and volunteerism.
In an effort to keep the pageant inclusive, Miss Universe Singapore 2024 (MUSG2024) pageant is open to young women over the age of 18 who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents with no age limitation. She must resides in Singapore for at least six months prior to January 1, 2024, and holding a valid Singapore passport until at least June 1, 2025.
Each year, one finalist is crowned Miss Universe Singapore and goes on to proudly represent the country on the International Miss Universe stage. This self-development program offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences and opportunities.
INDUSTRY INSIDERS STEP UP
Miss Universe Singapore is jointly organized by Beyond Entity Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company with over a decade of experience in pageantry, and King Kong Media Production, a prominent regional entertainment company headed by Singaporean entertainer Mark Lee. We aim to give our Singaporean women the opportunity to shine, showcase their unique charms, and let their inner queens dazzle the world!

This year, there will be a range of prizes for the winner, first runner-up, second runner-up, and 12 other contestants, ranging from SG$10,000 to SG$500.
